PMKVY
The Tamil Nadu Board of Rural Development, Chennai in association with National Skill Development Corporation, New Delhi has been implementing the Prime Minister Kousal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) in Thiruvannamalai and Krishnagiri districts.
Skill Training
The aim of the PMKVY scheme is to encourage aptitude towards employable skills and to increase working efficiency by giving monetary awards and rewards and by providing quality training to them.
A total of 600 candidates were trained so far in different job roles. More than 500 candidates have been successfully placed in various jobs in the domestic companies after successful completion of the training programme.
